Kanao Tsuyuri says almost nothing and gives away even less; in Demon Slayer her strength is composure, not noise. This made to order katana honours that quiet discipline with a clean 1060 carbon steel build for collectors who prefer the blade to do the talking.

The Build Sheet: 1060 Carbon Steel, Full Tang

Each piece is forged at our partner atelier in Longquan around a full tang that runs the entire grip. The numbers:

  • Overall length: 105 cm (41 in)
  • Blade: 72 cm (28 in) long, 3.2 cm (1.2 in) wide, 0.7 cm (0.27 in) thick
  • Handle: 30 cm (11.8 in)
  • Steel: 1060 carbon steel
  • Edge: sharpened or unsharpened, set by the variant you choose

Grip, Guard and Cord

The 30 cm handle carries a cotton ito wrap laid over synthetic rayskin, so the tsuka stays dry and secure in hand. An iron tsuba finishes the guard, and a cotton sageo in a matching colour ties the mounting together. Nothing loud, everything deliberate, much like Kanao herself.

Why Quiet Collectors Pick This One

Loud blades fill most display walls first; Kanao's tends to arrive once a collection matures. A favourite among Demon Slayer fans, it suits display, cosplay and non-contact practice, and like all our anime pieces it is a fan-made tribute rather than an officially licensed product. New to the series' weapons? Our Nichirin blade guide is the place to start, and the rest of our Demon Slayer katana range sits alongside it.

From Longquan to Your Door

We do not keep this model on a shelf. Your order goes straight to the forge, where shaping, mounting and finishing take 5 to 20 business days. It then travels with tracked delivery anywhere in Australia.

Blades That Share the Same Steel

If restrained elegance is your lane, look at the Hyorinmaru katana from Bleach or Vergil's Yamato from Devil May Cry, both built in 1060 carbon steel.

Before You Order

Are katanas legal to own in Australia?

Rules vary between states and territories. Read our guide to katana laws in Australia before buying so nothing surprises you.

Will I pay anything when it lands?

Possibly. Import duties or GST may be charged on arrival, and those amounts are set by Australian authorities, not by us.
