Start With the Steel: 1060 High Carbon, Full Tang
Before the lore, the fundamentals. The Black Enma Katana carries a 72 cm blade of 1060 high carbon steel with a tang that runs the entire grip, not a glued rat-tail. Overall length is 105 cm. The tsuka pairs cotton ito over synthetic rayskin so it locks into the hands the way a working sword should. Order it sharpened if you train, or unsharpened if it lives on a stand or comes out for cosplay.
The Sword That Feeds on Its Owner
In One Piece, Enma means King of Hell, and it earned the name honestly. Shimotsuki Kozaburo forged this O Wazamono grade blade more than fifty years back, and in Kozuki Oden's hands it did what nothing else could: it left a lasting scar on Kaido. Its curse is as famous as its cut. Enma drains Ryuo, advanced Haki, from whoever grips it, withering the arms of swordsmen who cannot keep pace. Roronoa Zoro claimed it in Wano, handing the treasure Shusui back to Kozuki Hiyori in the exchange, and bent the blade to his will. It now fights beside Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu in his three-sword style, part of his pursuit of Dracule Mihawk's crown.
Why Go Black?
This is the blacked-out rendition of Zoro's sword, a darker colourway that honours the same design. If you prefer the classic finish, the standard Enma katana is built on the same 1060 steel, and Oden fans can pair either with Amenohabakiri. The rest of the crew's arsenal lives in our One Piece katana collection.
Made to Order for Australia
This sword is not pulled from a warehouse shelf. Every Black Enma is forged on demand at our partner workshop in Longquan; allow 5 to 20 business days of preparation before dispatch, then tracked delivery to your door anywhere in Australia. Australian authorities may apply customs duties or GST on arrival; those charges are set by them, not by us. Details are in our shipping policy.
Quick Answers
Can I own a katana in Australia?
Rules vary between states and territories, so read our guide to katana laws in Australia before you order.
Sharp or blunt: which should I pick?
Go sharpened if you plan to cut; 1060 carbon steel holds an edge yet flexes under impact instead of cracking. For display or convention wear, the blunt version keeps the identical silhouette without a live edge.
