Handcrafted to Order
Your unique katana will be ready in 3-4 weeks
Steel first, story second. This tribute to Jin Sakai's blade is hand-forged from 1060 carbon steel, with a tang that runs the full length of the grip, built to genuine katana proportions for collectors who take Ghost of Tsushima seriously.
Steel and Measurements
- Overall length: 105 cm (41 in)
- Blade: 72 cm (28 in) long, 3.2 cm (1.2 in) wide, 0.7 cm (0.27 in) thick
- Tsuka: 30 cm (11.8 in), cotton ito wrap over synthetic rayskin
- Fittings: iron tsuba and a matching cotton sageo
- Construction: hand-forged 1060 carbon steel, full tang
An optional sharpened edge is offered on selected variants. Unsharpened, the katana suits display, cosplay and non-contact forms practice.
The Ghost's Journey, Carried in Steel
Jin Sakai starts the game as an honour-bound samurai and ends it as the shadowed guardian Tsushima calls the Ghost. This katana carries that tension: the weight of legacy on one side, the nerve to break with convention on the other. It is a fan-made piece, not an officially licensed product, designed for players who understood what that transformation cost him.
Forged When You Order
Every piece is made to order at our partner forge in Longquan. Allow 5 to 20 business days for forging and preparation, then tracked delivery to your door anywhere in Australia. Any customs duties or GST on arrival are set by Australian authorities, not by us; the details live in our shipping policy.
Kindred Blades
Video game steel deserves its own shelf. Vergil's Yamato katana is forged from the same 1060 carbon steel, while the Black Blade katana takes that steel down a darker path. The wider anime swords collection covers the rest.
Two Questions Worth Answering
Do I need a licence to own a katana in Australia?
Rules differ between states and territories. Before you order, read our guide to katana laws in Australia to check what applies where you live.
Why does preparation take up to 20 business days?
Because nothing is pulled off a warehouse shelf. Your katana is forged, assembled and inspected after you order, then shipped with tracking. Slower than a mass-produced replica, and worth it.
