Judge this blade on its build sheet before its fandom. The Kokushibo Katana Sword is a full tang katana in 1060 carbon steel, made to order for collectors who want Upper Moon One's weapon built properly rather than as a hollow costume prop.

Steel, Dimensions, Fittings

Overall length comes to 105 cm (41 in), carrying a 72 cm (28 in) blade that measures 3.2 cm (1.2 in) across with a 0.7 cm (0.27 in) spine. The 30 cm (11.8 in) handle is bound in cotton ito over synthetic rayskin, then finished with an iron tsuba and a cotton sageo to match.

  • Steel and build: 1060 carbon steel with a full tang
  • Edge: choose a sharpened or unsharpened variant when you order
  • Best for: display, cosplay, collection and non-contact practice

The Demon Who Remembers Being Human

Upper Moon One endures as one of the most complex characters Demon Slayer has produced: pulled between honour and fixation, shaped by centuries of mastery, haunted by the humanity he surrendered. That tension is what gives his katana such presence on a stand. To be clear, this is a fan-made tribute, not an officially licensed product. For the colour lore behind the series' swords, start with our Nichirin blade guide.

Made to Order, Shipped to Australia

Every blade is forged on demand at our partner workshop in Longquan. Count on 5 to 20 business days of preparation, after which the katana travels with tracked delivery anywhere in Australia. Customs charges or GST may be added on arrival; those figures are set by Australian authorities, not by us.

Building a Set?

The Black Enma Katana and the Hyorinmaru Katana are forged in the same 1060 carbon steel, and the full Demon Slayer katana collection gathers every blade we make from the series.

Before You Order

Are katanas legal to own in Australia?

Rules differ between states and territories. Our Australian katana laws guide walks through what applies where you live.

Which edge option suits a display piece?

If the blade will live on a stand or join a cosplay kit, the unsharpened variant covers it. Sharpening stays available for anyone who prefers a live edge.
