Start with what you can measure: a full tang blade of 1060 carbon steel, 105 cm of sword in total, finished with an iron tsuba and a cotton-wrapped handle. Then add the part you cannot measure. In One Piece lore, the Nidai Kitetsu is the second blade of the Kitetsu line, a sword with a reputation for deciding who gets to carry it. This replica gives you the chance to find out where you stand.

The Numbers on the Bench

  • Steel: 1060 carbon steel, full tang construction
  • Overall length: 105 cm (41 in)
  • Blade: 72 cm (28 in) long, 3.2 cm (1.2 in) wide, 0.7 cm (0.27 in) thick
  • Handle: 30 cm (11.8 in), cotton ito wrapped over synthetic rayskin
  • Fittings: iron tsuba with a colour-matched cotton sageo
  • Edge: optional sharpening, selected by variant

Second of the Kitetsu Line

Few named swords in One Piece carry the weight of the Kitetsu name. The Nidai is the second of that line, wrapped in mystique and said to select its wielder rather than the other way around. This is a fan-made tribute for readers and collectors, not an officially licensed product, and it earns its keep on a display stand, in a cosplay build or in non-contact practice.

Forged When You Order

We do not pull this sword off a warehouse shelf. Every Nidai Kitetsu is made to order at our partner forge in Longquan, where the smiths take 5 to 20 business days to prepare it. From there it travels by tracked delivery to your door anywhere in Australia. Customs duties or GST can apply on arrival; those charges are set by Australian authorities, not by us.

Building a One Piece Wall

The Nidai Kitetsu sits naturally beside the Black Enma Katana and the Amenohabakiri Katana, and the full line-up lives in our One Piece katana collection.

Straight Answers

Is it legal to own this katana in Australia?

Rules differ between states and territories. Our guide to katana laws in Australia covers what applies where you live, so read it before you order.

Can I practise with it?

Yes, in solo, non-contact drills. It is not built for contact work, so keep cutting and sparring off the menu.
